We’re all familiar with the dreaded Error 404- Page Not Found. They’re an inevitable part of running a website… directory names change, pages move and the 404s rear their ugly heads. But that’s the thing, they don’t actually have to be ugly. And although a raw 404 page is becoming a thing of the past, designers still tend to treat 404 page design as an afterthought to the rest of the site. The folks over at myInkBlog have put together a very nice set of map Photoshop brushes… that’s right, Photoshop brushes in the style of old fashioned, weathered and worn world maps. An usual set of Photoshop brushes this one, but definitely very stylish.

jQuery Fisheye Menu

Nick La from N.Design Studio has succeeded in putting together a very stylish jQuery fisheye menu. It uses the Fisheye component from Interface, comes packaged with it’s own icons and comes with in two dock styles – top and bottom.

90 Great Free Icons

Romanian designer Andy Gongea has put together a really nice set of 90 free icons. They’re crisp and clean and they look like they’d be mighty useful in all the usual sorts of projects.

They’re semi-transparent png icons in 64×64px resolution and can be used without restriction in any kind of project, private or commercial.
