Inspirational 404 Page Designs

We’re all familiar with the dreaded Error 404- Page Not Found. They’re an inevitable part of running a website… directory names change, pages move and the 404s rear their ugly heads. But that’s the thing, they don’t actually have to be ugly. And although a raw 404 page is becoming a thing of the past, designers still tend to treat 404 page design as an afterthought to the rest of the site. Which is a shame really considering that it might be your last chance to stop a visitor from leaving your site.
