Preloaders.net lets you very easily generate a slick looking animated loading gif for your web app or software project.

There is a nice selection of pre-made animated gifs to choose from in various styles (3D, rectangular, circular or horizontal). You can then modify the colours, proportions and animation speed before downloading your spiffy new loading graphic.
